iRacing 2026 Season 4: the schedule, useful numbers, and opening-week choices
Published by GridSherpa
Season 4 is live. GridSherpa parsed the official schedule so drivers can see what changed, which tracks recur most often, and which endurance races are available in the opening week.
At a glance: 155 official series, 2,002 scheduled series-weeks, 141 cars, 251 track configurations, and 17 rookie series.
What changed for Season 4?
The schedule comparison identifies 21 added or renamed series, 3 added venues, and 8 added cars. Venue additions include Cadwell Park Circuit and LA Coliseum Raceway. Car additions include the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH, both Caterham models, the Gen 4 Grand National, and the Radical SR8, alongside several legacy cars.
These are schedule-level changes. GridSherpa compares the current import with the archived previous season; it does not infer participation or ownership.
Which tracks appear most often?
Counting one appearance when a series uses a venue in a scheduled week, the leading venues are Lanier National Speedway (60 series-weeks), Charlotte Motor Speedway (56), Limaland Motorsports Park (46), USA International Speedway (44), Road Atlanta (34), Daytona International Speedway (32), Autodromo Nazionale Monza (29), and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (29).
This is a schedule-frequency measure, not a popularity forecast. The practical buying question is how many relevant series-weeks a purchase unlocks for the disciplines and cars a driver actually races. Compare tracks and cars in the buying guide.
What endurance races are available in opening week?
Five endurance options appear in the opening week:
- IMSA Endurance at Road Atlanta — 160 minutes
- IMSA Sportscar Endurance at Silverstone — 120 minutes
- GT Endurance at Silverstone — 180 minutes
- Britcar 24 at Silverstone — 24 hours
- Production Endurance at Hockenheim — 120 minutes
GridSherpa converts published starts to local time and can turn eligible team races into a shareable teammate card. Find an opening-week race.
How were these numbers calculated?
GridSherpa parses iRacing's published Season 4 schedule PDF into a reviewed schedule file. A series-week means one official series using one track configuration for one published race week. Counts reflect the September 15, 2026 import and may change if iRacing revises the schedule.
The analysis does not measure participation, predict splits, or claim that a frequent track is automatically the right purchase for every driver. GridSherpa is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by iRacing.
